Technip wins Rs. 800-cr contract to build onshore terminal in AP for ONGC.

Technip, a French engineering company, has been awarded a Euro 100-million (about Rs. 800 crore) contract by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to build a 6 million standard cubic feet per day onshore terminal at Odalarevu in Andhra Pradesh.

This project is part of the Integrated Development of Vashishta (VA) & S1 fields, located 30-35 km off the Amalapuram coast in the KG Basin.

The onshore terminal awarded is one of the critical components of the development of these fields.

The scope of work for this contract includes basic design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, inspection and testing, installation, and commissioning of the onshore terminal facilities, which will be integrated to the existing terminal.
