Suzlon Wins 381 MW Wind Project from Zelestra, Expands Across Three States.

Renewable energy company Suzlon announced on Friday that it has secured a 381 MW wind energy project from Zelestra India and its affiliates. This marks Suzlon's first-ever Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project.

The project will use 127 of Suzlon's S144 wind turbines and will be spread across three states:





  • Maharashtra: 180 MW




  • Madhya Pradesh: 180 MW




  • Tamil Nadu: 21 MW





Girish Tanti, Vice Chairman of the Suzlon Group, said the project signifies a critical shift in India's energy landscape. "India's energy transition landscape is at a pivotal juncture, where the pursuit of reliable, round-the-clock renewable power (FDRE) is taking center stage," he stated.
