Sona Valliappa Group Invests ₹150 Crore to Launch Advanced Learning Centre, Aiming to Train 1,000 GCC-Ready Professionals.

Sona Valliappa Group has launched the Sona Centre for Advanced Learning & Entrepreneurship (SCALE), an integrated campus designed to foster skilling, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The centre aims to develop future-ready talent for emerging industries and the growing demands of Global Capability Centres (GCCs).

Thyaagu Valliappa, Founder of SCALE, told BusinessLine that the initiative seeks to bridge the gap between industry and academia through hands-on learning in advanced “hot labs,” direct leadership exposure, and strong industry engagement. The institute is backed by more than 50 MoUs and 15 Centres of Excellence in collaboration with global brands, industry partners, and government stakeholders.

Through its partnership with the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM), SCALE plans to work with the Government of Karnataka to upskill over 3,000 young engineers across the state.
