Naidu to meet his Odisha, Chhattisgarh counterparts on Polavaram, visit Naya Raipur.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Chhattisgarh and Odisha soon to discuss issues related to the multi-purpose Polavaram Project with the Chief Ministers of the respective States.

The Chief Minister will discuss the ways and means of the problems that might arise out of the irrigation project and arrive at solutions amicably.

According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, Naidu will also visit Naya Raipur to examine if any models can be adapted to develop the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.

Parliament passed the Polavaram Bill in July which includes transfer of seven mandals of Telangana State to Andhra Pradesh. The project has inter-State issues and the meeting is aimed at addressing and resolving them.
