JM Financial Private Equity (PE) has recently infused ₹45 crore into Energy Beverages, a rapidly growing national brand renowned for its bottled water product line, notably "Clear". The company has gained significant traction within the HoReCa (hotels, restaurants & cafes) segment and is steadily making headway into the retail market across India. Nayan Shah, boasting over 18 years of experience in the beverage industry, leads the company.

With a comprehensive presence spanning across India, Energy Beverages is strategically advancing its distribution network nationwide. The capital injection from JM Financial PE will be channeled towards amplifying brand awareness initiatives and bolstering the company's existing production capacities and distribution infrastructure.

Darius Pandole, Managing Director of JM Financial Private Equity, emphasized the immense potential of the Indian bottled water market, characterized by its underpenetrated and fragmented nature. Pandole noted a notable shift in consumer preferences towards the organized sector, attributed to growing concerns regarding hygiene and an overarching surge in health consciousness, particularly in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This investment marks the fifth deployment from Fund III for JM Financial PE, aligning seamlessly with its overarching strategy of backing growth-oriented enterprises within the mid-market segment. As Energy Beverages gears up for accelerated expansion, backed by the financial support and strategic guidance from JM Financial PE, it is poised to further solidify its position as a key player within the thriving Indian beverage industry landscape.
