DMRC gets first international consulting contract

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) got its first international project for management consulting services for the first phase of the Jakarta Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) in Indonesia, comprising of 15.7
kilometres.

DMRC has been awarded the work in a joint venture with eight other international companies from Japan, US and Indonesia.

The DMRC in this joint venture will be to finalise the organisational structure of the Jakarta Metro, recruit personnel, develop training facilities and train the employees for various categories required for commencing the operations.

The DMRC had also prepared the special assistance on project implementation (SAPI) study for the Jakarta MRTS.
