Arya.ag to Scale Up Smart Farm Centres to 250 by 2027 to Enhance Farmers’ Access to Technology.

Agritech firm Arya.ag, known for its credit services in the farm sector, has announced plans to scale up its Smart Farm Centres (SFCs) to 250 by April 2027. The company currently operates 17 SFCs at the village level across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, and aims to add at least eight more by March 2026, said Prasanna Rao, co-founder and CEO of Arya.ag.

Addressing the media in New Delhi, Rao said the Smart Farm Centres provide a range of agricultural services, solutions, and technologies free of cost to farmers. The initiative connects farmers directly with companies - the actual buyers of produce - allowing Arya.ag to offer these services without charging farmers. “The companies bear the costs while farmers grow as per market demand,” Rao explained.

Rao added that while Arya.ag collaborates with over 2,000 farmer producer organisations (FPOs) across the country, the 17 existing Smart Farm Centres are currently linked with about 30 FPOs. The planned expansion aims to deepen the integration of technology and market access in rural farming communities.
