Vikran Engineering Bags ₹530.80 Crore Contracts.

Vikran Engineering, a rapidly growing multi-sector EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firm, has secured two major Letters of Award (LoAs) totaling ₹530.80 crore (excluding GST) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Limited for development and strengthening of power distribution infrastructure across Maharashtra’s Nashik and Kolhapur zones.

The contracts, part of the Asian Development Bank (ADB)-funded Power Distribution Enhancement Program and awarded through national competitive bidding, are valued at ₹235.63 crore for Nashik and ₹295.17 crore for Kolhapur, both excluding GST.

Under the turnkey projects, Vikran Engineering will execute comprehensive activities including site survey, design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, commissioning, and documentation. Key deliverables include new 33/11 kV, 22/11 kV, and 33/22 kV substations, transmission lines, power transformer augmentation, distribution transformers, LT and HT/LT underground cabling, renovation works, and GIS mapping with asset tagging. Each project is scheduled for completion within 21 months from the respective LoA date.
