US firm MetricStream to invest Rs. 150 crore in India

MetricStream Inc, a US-based enterprise solutions provider, plans to invest Rs. 150 crore in India over the next few years.

The company, which has 90 per cent of its 1,600 employees based out of India, witnessed increasing demand for its governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software after the collapse of US investment bank Lehman Brothers in 2008, and has been growing its revenue by 50 per cent year-on-year over the last five years.

Shellye Archambeau, CEO of MetricStream who is visiting Bangalore, told BusinessLine the investments would go into hiring talent, beefing up the company's infrastructure with new offices and expanding its partners' GRC practices in India.
