Telangana in talks with Samsung, Lava to set up mfg unit.

After roping in Micromax to set up its manufacturing unit near Hyderabad, the Telangana government is now in talks with Korean phone maker Samsung and domestic producers such as Karbonn and Lava International Ltd. to manufacture their phones from the state's mobile manufacturing hub.

'Micromax has already agreed to set up their unit in our state. Besides, we are in talks with Samsung, Karbonn and Lava to come and set up their manufacturing units in our state,' said K T Rama Rao, minister for Information Technology and Panchayati Raj with Telangana government.
