Telangana Government Secures ₹5,260 Crore Investment Deals for Pharma City.
The Telangana government has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with six leading pharmaceutical companies to establish manufacturing and research facilities in Hyderabad’s Pharma City.
The agreements were inked with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharma, Gland Pharma, Hetero, Laurus Labs, and MSN Labs. Together, these companies have committed investments totaling ₹5,260 crore, expected to create 12,490 jobs.
According to an official release, the required land for these projects has been identified and will be handed over to the companies within the next four months.
This development underscores Telangana’s strategic push to position Pharma City as a global hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing and research, enhancing its contribution to the state’s economy and the healthcare sector.
