SWREL Secures ₹1,381-Crore Order from Adani Green.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL), a leading renewable EPC company, recently announced that it has signed a five-year Strategic Partnership Framework Agreement with Adani Green Energy Ltd and secured its first purchase order worth ₹1,381 crore under the arrangement.

The order covers a Balance of System (BOS) package for three solar power projects located within the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat, one of the world’s largest renewable energy developments. It includes the supply of goods and on-site services, the company said in a statement. SWREL is currently executing about 6 GW of projects in the Khavda region, with 5 GW targeted for completion in the current fiscal year. The new 1 GW project further reinforces the company’s strong presence in Gujarat.

Commenting on the development, Chandra Kishore Thakur, Global CEO of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Group, said the agreement reflects a deepening partnership between India’s largest renewable energy developer and one of the country’s leading solar EPC players. He added that the order, the company’s largest domestic EPC contract this fiscal, underscores clients’ confidence in SWREL’s engineering expertise and execution capabilities. With this win, SWREL’s order inflow for the fiscal has crossed ₹6,450 crore, with a robust pipeline ahead.
