Sustainable Packaging Firm Bambrew Secures ₹90 Cr for Growth.
Bambrew, a Bengaluru-based sustainable packaging startup, has successfully raised ₹90 crore in a recent funding round. The investment was led by Ashok Goel, former Managing Director of Essel Propack, and Japanese venture capital firm Enrission India Capital.
This significant capital injection will be crucial in bolstering Bambrew's research and development efforts, enabling the company to scale its manufacturing capabilities, and facilitating its expansion into international markets, specifically West Asia and North America.
Founded in 2019 by Vaibhav Anant, Bambrew is at the forefront of developing planet-positive, high-performance alternatives to single-use plastics. The company utilizes a diverse range of natural resources, including bamboo fiber, agro-waste, seaweed, and recycled paper, to create its innovative packaging solutions. Bambrew's clientele spans across key sectors such as FMCG, e-commerce, personal care, and food and beverages.
