Speed Up Vijayawada-Gannavaram Road Beautification: Collector.

District collector Babu A directed the officials concerned to complete the beautification works of Gannavaram-Vijayawada route in 45 days.

Reviewing measures to be initiated with officials from Municipal, Irrigation, Panchayat departments, CRDA and NHAI recently said beautification of the 21.2 km stretch, first such work to be undertaken in the capital region, should be a trendsetter. He emphasised the need for the green corridor of international standards. He also stressed the need for green cover on both sides of the cycle track running parallel to the road.
