South West Pinnacle Exploration Strengthens RIL Partnership with Contract Extension.

South West Pinnacle Exploration Ltd (SWPE) has received a contract extension from Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) for providing coal bed methane (CBM) production services in Madhya Pradesh.The extended contract, including GST, is valued at approximately ₹166.82 crore. The company said the project is expected to begin contributing revenue from the second quarter of FY27, as the required machinery, equipment, trained manpower and other resources are already deployed at the site, eliminating the need for additional asset mobilisation.

SWPE said it has previously completed two projects for RIL in the same domain and is currently executing CBM production services under the existing contract. With the latest contract extension, the company’s order book has crossed ₹760 crore, providing revenue visibility for the next two to three years.

Commenting on the development, Vikas Jain, Chairman and Managing Director, SWPE, said the contract extension, valued at over ₹166 crore with a tentative duration of 15 months and a further extension option of six months, is a significant achievement for the company.

He added that the contract win strengthens the company’s medium- and long-term growth outlook, while CBM production contributes towards meeting India’s energy requirements and supporting the country’s energy self-reliance goals.Piyush Jain, Joint Managing Director, said the contract extension will enable uninterrupted continuation of operations without any loss of time due to resource mobilisation. He added that revenue generation from the project is expected to commence from Q2 FY27.

The company thanked its employees and stakeholders involved in the project for their contribution towards securing and executing the contract.
