Rs.122-crore mobility hub for Kozhikode.

The State Cabinet recently approved a proposal envisaging the establishment of a Rs.122-crore mobility hub at Meenchantha in Kozhikode.

For the mobility hub, the tender, qualification of applicants, the model project and proposal, and the draft concessionaire agreement were approved by the Cabinet.

It sanctioned Rs.15.4 crore for payment of education benefits to children of fisherfolk and Rs.10 crore for Coirfed, and Rs.55 crore for the Kerala State Cashew Development Corporation.

The State government will sign a MoU with the Railways for setting up a special purpose vehicle for developing the suburban rail line. The State government will sign a MoU with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for the Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Light Metro projects.
