Rajoo Engineers forms JV with Dutch firm Meaf for extrusion technology.

The Rajkot-based plastic processing machinery manufacturer Rajoo Engineers has entered into a 60:40 joint venture with the Netherlands-based Meaf Machines BV, a company involved in the sheet extrusion equipment and thermoforming machinery, to address the emerging demand for semi-flexible packaging systems.

With product design, technology, processing know-how and critical components coming from the European partner, Rajoo Engineers, one of the leading players in blown film and sheet extrusion lines in India, will further strengthen its position in the sheet extrusion and thermoforming machinery segments. “The constant industry interaction along with a comprehension of the changing needs drove Rajoo to look for a consolidated and contemporary solution to position itself as a one-stop-solution provider for sheet extrusion with inline/offline thermoforming. Such a desire formed the basis of this JV with Meaf Machines,' said Rajoo Engineers in a press release.

The JV, Rajoo Meaf Engineers Pvt Ltd, will be based in Rajkot and cater to a diverse spectrum of markets such as India and other ASEAN countries, and East, West and North Africa.
