McNally Bharat Engineering bags Rs.229 Crore fluorspar beneficiation plant in South Africa
McNally Bharat Engineering (SA) Proprietary Ltd, a 100 per cent South African subsidiary and a special purpose vehicle, has received an order for execution of fluorspar beneficiation plan t for a value of Rs 229 crore. The contractual timeframe for the erection of the plant is 21 months.
McNally Bharat has already obtained a related order earlier this month for supplying 0.6 million fluorspar concentrate plant worth Rs 280.7 crore to a South African miner Sephaku Fluoride Ltd.
The miner is subsidiary of Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed Sphaku Holdings Ltd and has a fluorspar mine that consists of three adjacent haematite-fluorspar deposits, including Plattekop, Outwash Fan, and Wilton deposits located on the north of Pretoria.
The proposed mining project is located in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. Sephaku Holdings plans to develop the mine, producing acid grade (97.2 per cent CaF2) fluorspar.
