Mak launches Phase III of Banyan Tree Retreat.

Mak Projects has launched the third phase of its Banyan Tree Retreat, a premium gated and guarded community with an exclusive nine-hole executive golf course. Phase III will have plots ranging from 600 - 2,000 square yards.

According to T Atchi Reddy, director, Mak Projects, Banyan Tree Retreat has emerged as one the premier properties in the twin cities. It is a gated community with 300 premium villas spread over 150 acres on the Srisailam National Highway, about five minutes’ drive from Outer Ring Road and also in close proximity to the Hyderabad international airport.

Earlier, 330 villas were built on plots ranging in size from 400 sq yards to 600 sq yards and with a built-up area ranging from 2,900 sq ft to 3,600 sq ft.

Reddy said the area was chosen because after Gachibowli, this area has the scope of developing into a major activity centre. The project is in the vicinity of the upcoming Information Technology and Investment Region, approved by the central government, hardware park, the office premises of TCS, Cognizant, Tata Lockheed Martin and Tata Advanced Systems. Apollo, along with Mayo Hospitals of the US, is setting up a hospital in the airport premises.

The project has a nine-hole executive golf course, a gymnasium, a squash court, a badminton court, a tennis court, a spa for men and women, two party halls, a mini theatre, a coffee shop, a convenience store, a swimming pool, and a children's play area, among other things.

It has a 50,000 sq ft clubhouse and resort that is equipped and functional. It has an underground cabling and drainage system, streetscaping and lighting, landscaped gardens, facility management services, and tree lined vistas.

'We are adding a lot of sport facilities at the project,' said Reddy, adding that it would also take up building of custom-designed villas. Golf Villa plot owners will be entitled to the club membership.
