L&T IDPL awarded two major projects from NHAI

L&T Infrastructure Development Projects (L&T IDPL) has emerged as a successful bidder for the two major NHAI road projects worth Rs 4,800 crore.

Separate Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) subsidiaries of L&T IDPL signed concession agreemnt with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

Both the projects have concession period of 20 years, including a construction period of 30 months,

The projects are..

- 275 km Amravati to Jalgaon and 209 km Jalgaon to Maharashtra - are for 4-laning and will be built by the construction arm of L&T as EPC contractors.

The two road sections totalling 484 km are part of National Highway No. 6 connecting Surat to Kolkata, and are a prominent East-West connector.
