Jupiter Wagons Wins Major Rail Freight Orders Valued at Over ₹264 Crore.

Jupiter Wagons Limited, a leading provider of integrated mobility solutions across rail, road, and marine transportation, has secured two major orders worth a combined ₹264.32 crore from JSW (South) Rail Logistics Private Limited and Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). The orders further strengthen the company’s presence across private and public sector customers and reinforce its role in India’s growing freight logistics ecosystem.

As part of the first order, Jupiter Wagons has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) with JSW (South) Rail Logistics for the manufacture and supply of five BFNSM1 rakes along with BVCM wagons. Valued at ₹122.88 crore, the order is scheduled for execution within seven months from the date of signing of the LoI. Additionally, the company will supply two BFNV wagons to JSW as part of its earlier requirements.

In a separate development, Central Warehousing Corporation, a Government of India enterprise, has awarded Jupiter Wagons a contract for the manufacture and supply of eight BLSS rakes. The order comprises 32 BLSS-A wagons, 352 BLSS-B wagons, and eight brake vans, with a total contract value of ₹141.44 crore. The order is expected to be completed within one year from the date of the Letter of Award (LoA).

The combined orders are expected to enhance Jupiter Wagons’ order book while highlighting the increasing demand for specialised, high-capacity rolling stock solutions to support India’s expanding freight transportation and logistics infrastructure.
