HC Robotics to Invest ₹500 Crore in Telangana Expansion.
HC Robotics, a subsidiary of Centillion Networks, will invest ₹500 crore in Telangana, reinforcing the state’s position as a technology and innovation hub, IT & Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu announced recently.
Speaking to the media, the Minister highlighted that Centillion Networks and HC Robotics, headquartered in Hyderabad, operate across nine countries, specializing in drone technology, telecommunications, robotics, and aerospace software development.
Currently employing 2,000 professionals, the company’s expansion will generate 500 new jobs this year, with the workforce expected to grow to 2,000 over the next three years.
The Minister also emphasized the government's focus on decentralizing IT investments beyond Hyderabad, ensuring employment opportunities for youth in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. “We are encouraging industrialists to invest in these regions, and Centillion Networks has already launched operations in Karimnagar, with more companies following suit,” he said.
Addressing SME concerns, Sridhar Babu acknowledged delays in incentives amounting to ₹4,500 crore since 2016, affirming that the government is prioritizing their clearance.
He also noted that of the 18 MoUs signed at Davos last year, 17 are in progress, with 10 achieving over 50% implementation. This year, Telangana has secured investment commitments worth ₹1.8 lakh crore, underscoring the state’s efforts in translating agreements into economic growth.
