Dy CM Inaugurates Sathya Sai Drinking Water Project.
Deputy chief minister and home minister Nimmakayala China Rajappa said that his government under the leadership of chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu will take steps for developing Puttaparthi as a spiritual and tourism spot.
After participating in the 89th birth anniversary celebrations of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba organised at Sai Kulwanth Hall at Prasanthi Nilayam in Puttaparthi recently, he inaugurated Satya Sai drinking water project taken up by the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust at a cost of Rs. 80 crore, for providing purified drinking water to people across 118 villages in Bukkapatnam, Kothacheruvu and Puttaparthi mandal.
Speaking on the occasion, he lauded various service activities taken up by the Sathya Sai Trust in various parts of the nation as well as abroad, he said the government will extend all possible support to the trust for taking up the activities.
