DAC Approves ₹79,000 Cr Defence Boost: India Powers Up Army, Navy & Air Force!

Aiming to bolster India’s indigenous defence capabilities and operational readiness across the armed forces, the Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) recently approved acquisition proposals worth around ₹79,000 crore.



The Army received nod at the DAC meeting chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for procurement of the Nag Missile System (Tracked) Mk-II (NAMIS), Ground-Based Mobile ELINT System (GBMES) and High Mobility Vehicles (HMVs) with Material Handling Cranes, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
