Collector, CP inspect Hinduja plant.
With Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to visit the city during the third week of October and inaugurate the Hinduja National Power Corporation’s super thermal power plant at Parawada, Collector N. Yuvaraj and Commissioner of Police Amit Garg, along with other officials, inspected the plant premises.
The officials discussed with the power plant’s Senior Vice-President Arun Kumar, General Manager (Finance) Jayaram, and Deputy General Manager Muralikrishna the place needed for helipad and arrangements being planned for the inauguration function. They wanted the HNPC to complete plant works before Mr. Modi’s visit.
Revenue Divisional Officer S. Venkateswara Rao, Tahsildar Venu, Superintending Engineer of R&B G. Kanthu, Executive Engineer Chandran, and Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhusudhan were present.
HNPC is setting up two 520 MW capacity power plants at a cost of Rs. 5,500 crore and the first one is ready for launch.
