Afghan Government Approves 27 Development Projects.

The Afghan caretaker government's national procurement commission has approved 27 development projects valued at 5 billion Afghani (approximately $73 million), according to the office of the acting deputy prime minister for economic affairs.

The approved projects include the construction of a water dam, residential apartments, roads, and electrical infrastructure in Kabul and various provinces across the country.

These initiatives are expected to generate employment for hundreds of thousands, offering a much-needed boost to the nation’s economy.

The government aims to fund additional development and infrastructure projects through its domestic budget, with a focus on addressing economic challenges and creating sustainable job opportunities in the war-affected country.
