Zifo's Chennai Operations Set to Expand, Aiming to Achieve ₹1,000 Crore Company Status This Fiscal Year

Zifo, a Chennai-based company specializing in IT services for the life sciences industry, is set to expand its operations in the city. With plans to recruit approximately 1,000 employees throughout the calendar year, the company aims to achieve a revenue milestone of ₹1,000 crore by the end of the current fiscal year on March 31, 2024.

According to Raj Prakash, the Managing Director and CEO of Zifo, the company has been experiencing consistent growth of around 30% over the past few years. Established in 2008, Zifo initially focused on providing specialized IT services for clinical trials applications within the life sciences sector. Over time, it has evolved into a comprehensive clinical biometrics service provider, offering expanded services in research and lab information.

"We are the preferred scientific informatics partners for 11 out of the top 15 global biopharma companies. We help them accelerate their drug discovery and development lifecycles," Prakash stated, although he did not disclose specific client names. Zifo's services span across various domains including R&D, manufacturing, and clinical sectors in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and chemicals.
