Wyndham Hotels Strengthens India Team, Targets 10–15% Annual Room Growth.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has strengthened its business development team and opened a new office in India as part of its strategy to grow its room inventory in the country by 10–15% annually.

The US-based hospitality chain, known for its midscale offerings, has doubled its India portfolio over the past seven years, currently operating 67 hotels across multiple brands. In 2023, the company added 11 hotels, taking its total room count in India to 6,000.

Looking ahead, Wyndham plans to open 20 more hotels under its Ramada and Wyndham brands in 2025, adding another 2,000 rooms to its India portfolio.1

“On an organic basis, we will grow rooms 10–15 per cent year-on-year,” said Dimitris Manikis, President of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for the EMEA region, on Tuesday.
