Wal-Mart to expand store strength in India

New Delhi: The world’s largest retailer, Wal-Mart Stores Inc plans to open 40 more cash and carry stores in India under its joint venture with the Bharti Group.

It plans to have more investments from farm to the fork ventures. It opened the first wholesale store in Amritsar, Punjab on May this year.
