HFCL Limited builds ₹1,570 crore defence export pipeline.

HFCL Limited recently announced an expansion of its defence business through its subsidiary, HFCL Advance Systems Private Limited, citing a confirmed export order book of ₹1,570 crore in aeronautic manufacturing.

As part of the expansion, HASPL will acquire a 100 per cent stake in Spiral EHL Engineering Limited. Spiral will subsequently acquire the aerostructure and aeronautics business of Defsys Solutions Private Limited on a slump sale basis.

In addition, HASPL will acquire an 80 per cent stake in Raddef Private Limited, further strengthening indigenous defence electronics capabilities. The move is also expected to bolster HFCL’s existing Thermal Weapon Sight (TWS) business as it deepens its presence in the defence segment.
