Visakhapatnam Port handle record granular urea unloading

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam port has established a record in granular urea unloading in a day. According to a press release issued on Wednesday, 15,167 tonnes of granular urea was unloaded on Tuesday from m.v. Yick Zao at EQ-7 berth, surpassing the previous best of 14,100 tonnes on March 22.

The cargo was imported by Krishak Bharati Co-operative Ltd, Noida.

Sravan Shipping Services Private Ltd were the stevedores and Interocean Shipping Private Ltd the steamer agents.
