Varonis Launches Data Centers in India to Expand Operations.

Varonis Systems, Inc., a Nasdaq-listed data security solutions provider, has launched two new data centers in India, located in Mumbai and Pune. These centers will support customers leveraging Varonis' cloud-native data security platform to safeguard sensitive information, comply with privacy regulations, and counter threats using AI-powered automation.

“The new data centers will assist customers in adhering to regulatory frameworks set by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI),” a company spokesperson stated.

Maheswaran Shanmugasundaram, Country Manager for India at Varonis, emphasized that the expansion aligns with India's data sovereignty requirements and strengthens regional regulatory compliance.
