Trying to revive the west coast refinery project: Hardeep Singh Puri.

Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri recently said that the government is planning to revive the 60 million metric tonnes per annum west coast refinery and petrochemicals project in Maharashtra that was announced in December 2015.

Due to opposition from local residents citing environmental concerns, the project could not move forward.
