"Terminus Group and Rx Propellent to Invest ₹2,000 Cr in Genome Valley"
Terminus Group and Rx Propellant have announced plans to collaboratively develop 20 lakh sq ft of curated life sciences infrastructure alongside an additional 10 lakh sq ft of supporting facilities, including 'One North' featuring 150 key hotel and service apartments at Genome Valley. The integrated development is anticipated to attract ₹2,000 crore in capital investment, with an additional ₹4,000 crore expected from tenants, potentially generating employment opportunities for 10,000 individuals.
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed optimism about the state's burgeoning status as a global life sciences hub, emphasizing initiatives aimed at fostering growth in the sector. He highlighted the state's commitment to cultivating a sustainable ecosystem conducive to nurturing startups while facilitating the expansion of both domestic and international players.
The integrated development of 'One North' within the Genome Valley cluster is poised to enhance the ecosystem, drawing interest from various stakeholders, both locally and internationally, noted the Chief Minister. Representatives from the companies involved affirmed that the collaborative effort will provide essential infrastructure to support the growth of Genome Valley while attracting global talent and investment.
Milind Ravi, CEO of Rx Propellant, underscored the comprehensive range of infrastructure solutions offered by the project, catering to companies across all stages from conceptualization to commercialization. The initiative aims to provide a supportive environment for life sciences companies, fostering innovation and growth within the Genome Valley cluster.
