TCS Unveils Plans for New Delivery Center in Brazil
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is embarking on the establishment of a new delivery center in Londrina, Paraná, Brazil. Anticipated to generate more than 1,600 employment opportunities over the next five years, this initiative underscores TCS's commitment to expanding its presence in the region.
Having been operational in Londrina since 2018, TCS currently employs approximately 1,700 individuals in the city. The forthcoming centralized campus will consolidate the city's workforce under one roof, fostering collaboration and synergy. The delivery center will specialize in critical domains such as business transformation, artificial intelligence, and cognitive business operations, offering a comprehensive suite of IT services to clients in Brazil and worldwide.
During a recent visit to the Tata Experience Centre in Mumbai, Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior, Governor of the State of Paraná, Brazil, expressed the significance of TCS's announcement for the state's development. He highlighted the potential for leveraging India's expertise in digital technologies to deepen the digitization of services and products within the Brazilian economy.
Bruno Rocha, Country Head of TCS Brazil, emphasized the new delivery center's role in reinforcing the company's commitment to Brazil and its confidence in local talent. TCS aims to double its workforce in key areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, cognitive business operations, IT infrastructure services, artificial intelligence, and automation, reflecting its dedication to technological innovation and service excellence.
With a presence spanning over two decades in Brazil, TCS operates in key cities such as Londrina, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro. The company serves over 140 clients across various sectors, including banking, insurance, mining, retail, and telecommunications, contributing significantly to the country's digital transformation journey.
