Tata Elxsi to set up two development centres
Bangalore: Product design services company Tata Elxsi has announced setting up of two new development project centres in Coimbatore and Hyderabad, apart from expanding its capacity in Thiruvananthapuram. The expansion has been made keeping in view the growing requirements of its clients, said the company.
The new development centres will assist customers worldwide on product design and development and provide them with quality and time-to-market solutions through a skilled and motivated workforce. Tata Elxsi already has five development project centres in India including Thiruvananthapuram, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune and Chennai.
The development centres in Coimbatore and Hyderabad would together accommodate over 700 engineers and designers. The facility in Thiruvananthapuram, which currently houses 582 engineers, has been expanded to accommodate another 1,500 engineers.
'Hyderabad has over the years evolved as a vibrant IT destination and the development centre here with its advanced facilities and full- fledged infrastructure along with the centers in Coimbatore and Thiruvananthapuram, the two emerging technology hotspots will complement the existing centers in India,' Madhukar Dev, MD & CEO, Tata Elxsi said.
