Tapukara plant running at full capacity: Honda Motorcycle.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) recently said there is no production loss at its Tapukara plant in Alwar and the unit is running at full capacity.

The Tapukara plant has a daily capacity of 4,400 units but is now rolling out 4,400-4,500 units to meet rising demand, the company said in a statement.

'There is no dispute at the plant,' it added.

The plant produces the bike brand Shine, and the largest selling two-wheeler Activa, apart from the Dio and the latest India-only model Navi.

The company has come out with the statement after few sacked employees had claimed that the production was hit at the plant.

Around 100-odd workers, some of them fighting criminal cases against them for attacking police in February, went on a hunger strike at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi a week ago, claiming that the management was preventing employees from forming a union.
