SPML installs any-time payment kiosks

Ahmedabad: Infrastructure company SPML Technologies of Subhash Projects and Marketing Ltd completed its first phase of roll out of automated any-time payment kiosks for ePayment of electricity bills in Gujarat.

Around 43 ATP kiosks have been installed through a tie up with the four State distribution agencies under build-own-operate-maintain model. The four distribution agencies to have tied up with SPML are Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (seven kiosks), Madhya Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (19), Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (10) and UttarGujarat Vij Company Ltd (7). SPML Technologies is in discussion with other utility organisations including water distribution providers, transport corporations and telecom industry for extension of similar services.
