SITRA tech conference this week

Coimbatore: South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) will host the 48th joint technological conference on April 7. The two-day conference will be attended by over 500 delegates representing the textile industry, educational institutions and textile R&D laboratories.

Dr K. Sajjan Rao, head of Communications, SITRA, said that Union Minister of State for Textiles Mr E.V.K.S. Elangovan will inaugurate the conference and Mr P.V. Indiresan, Member, advisory board of Centre for Policy Research, will deliver the commemorative lecture to mark SITRA's golden jubilee celebrations the same day.
