Siemens bags 86.6 Crore sub station contract from Bangladesh

Siemens bags 86.6 Crore sub station contract from Bangladesh Siemens Ltd has won Rs 86.6 crore contract from Bangladesh Power Development Board for construction and up gradation of substations.

This order to construct six new substations and upgrade 14 similar substations, is the single largest received by infrastructure and cities sector of Siemens Ltd for gas-insulated switchgear panels.

The project is funded by Japan Bank for International Cooperation Agency. The new and upgraded substations are located Sylhet, Mymensingh, Jamalpur and Tangail, in the eastern and central parts of Bangladesh.
