"RITES Inks MoU with NEEPCO for Consultancy Works"

RITES Ltd., a prominent consultancy organization specializing in transport infrastructure, has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO). The partnership aims to undertake consultancy works for enhancing logistical infrastructure, particularly at various hydropower stations in the Siang Basin and other regions.

The Arunachal Pradesh Government has entrusted NEEPCO with the execution of five hydropower projects in the Siang Basin to bolster the power infrastructure in the area. Under the MoU, RITES will extend its support to NEEPCO as a Project Management Consultant, focusing on rail infrastructure facilities. This includes areas such as signalling and telecommunications, overhead equipment, conveyor systems, as well as works related to roads, buildings, and other civil ancillary structures, including utilities.

This collaboration highlights RITES' dedication to advancing sustainable infrastructure, leveraging its core consultancy expertise. The company is eager to work collaboratively with NEEPCO, contributing to their mission of expanding access to clean energy in the region."
