Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to Bihar and West Bengal today, where he will lay foundation stones, inaugurate, and dedicate a wide array of development projects totaling over ₹12,000 crore. Projects in Bihar: A ₹7,200 Crore Boost

Fisheries Sector: Under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana, he will launch various infrastructure projects including fish hatcheries, biofloc units, ornamental fish farms, integrated aquaculture units, and fish feed mills across Bihar.

Rail and Road Infrastructure: In the rail sector, the Prime Minister will dedicate the doubling of the 36-km Purulia–Kotshila rail line, a ₹390 crore project aimed at improving connectivity between Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Ranchi, and Kolkata. He will also inaugurate two road overbridges under the Setu Bharatam programme, located at Topsi and Pandabeshwar in Paschim Bardhaman, constructed at a cost exceeding ₹380 crore.
