NBCC Shares Jump 8% After Securing Multiple Construction Orders

Shares of state-owned NBCC surged 8.4% to ₹141 per share on the BSE during Thursday’s intraday trading. This spike follows the public sector undertaking's announcement on Wednesday that it had secured 13 construction orders totaling ₹491 crore.

Among the notable orders, NBCC has been tasked with building a multifacility healthcare complex in Antop Hill, Mumbai, for the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS), valued at ₹112 crore. Additionally, NBCC received an order from the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to construct an integrated infrastructure complex in Bargarh district, Odisha, for ₹73.27 crore. Another significant order from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) involves building residences at MEA’s plot in INA, New Delhi, worth ₹130 crore.

NBCC Limited, formerly known as National Buildings Construction Corporation, operates under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. It specializes in project management consultancy, real estate, and engineering procurement and construction.
