MEA Bars BLS International from Contracts for Two Years.

BLS International, a provider of visa and consular services, has been debarred by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) from participating in new tenders for a period of two years.

The company disclosed the development in a stock exchange filing on Saturday, stating that the debarment was issued in connection with various allegations, including ongoing court cases and complaints from applicants.

However, BLS clarified that the order will not impact its existing contracts with the MEA, which will continue under the current terms. “The order is being evaluated, and the company will take appropriate legal action in due course,” it added.
