VUDA moves against Pharma City

Visakhapatnam: The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) has initiated action against the promoters of the Pharma City coming up at Parawada in Visakhapatnam district. A few structures were demolished towards the weekend in the pharma city, as the promoters, according to the VUDA officials, have not paid development charges of Rs 3 crore and not submitted the detailed building plans. VUDA sources said that the move was meant to pressurise the pharma city promoters, Ramky Pharma City Infrastructure Ltd, to pay the development charges.
