L&T bags orders worth Rs 2,056 cr
L&T Construction has bagged Rs 2,056 crore worth orders in December. In the water and effluent treatment business, it has got two orders totalling Rs 1,262 crore. One order is from The Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board for a combined water supply scheme in Madurai, Sivagangai and Vellore districts. The second order has been received from Raipur Vikas Pradhikaran for the construction of underground storm water pipelines, sewerage, water supply and other associated works at Raipur.
In the buildings and factories segment, it has received a Rs 388-crore order for constructing four residential towers in Mumbai.
The rail Infrastructure segment has received fresh orders and additional orders aggregating Rs 406 crore, which includes a major contract for building a viaduct, including electrical, signalling and telecommunication works, on the Villupuram-Virudhachalam-Ariyalur section from Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.
