KEC wins 3 orders worth Rs 400 cr

KEC International has bagged three new orders worth Rs 400 crore, including a Rs 306-crore contract from Saudi Arabia.

The order from Saudi Arabia is for 380 kV double circuit overhead transmission lines and has been awarded by the Saudi Electricity Company.

The order is worth Rs 306 crore and was secured through the firm's joint venture with Al-Sharif Group. The contract is expected to be completed in 24 months.

In India, the company has secured two new orders for 400 kV double circuit overhead transmission lines: one order is from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) and other from Private customer – VISA Power.

The PGCIL contract, valued at Rs 70 crore, is for transmission line in Salem, Tamil Nadu. It is to be completed in 27 months.

The Rs 24 crore-order from Visa Power is for transmission line and is expected to be executed in 12 months.
