Kleindienst launches Phase 2 of The Heart of Europe.

Phase 2 of The Heart of Europe on Dubai's The World has been launched by leading developer Kleindienst Group. The new phase will see the development of the Sweden Island.

The Sweden Island includes 10 exclusive and modern villas. Each villa will be home to 7 bedrooms spread across four floors, a gym and spa, as well as entertainment space, private beach access and a private pool. The island will also feature a floating restaurant.

Richard Westcott, founder of leading European design firm Jardim Vista Landscaping, has been appointed for the landscaping of Sweden Island, and JK Bauen, an affiliate company of Kleindeinst Group specializing in construction will carry out all of the construction and building work on Sweden Island.

The villas design will resemble the upturned hull of the renowned Viking ships, representing a Swedish historical treasure, and the island will be home to an authentic floating restaurant, based on Stockholm's famous Saluhall Market, the developer said in a statement released today.

As previously reported, The Heart of Europe will spread across six islands and is set to feature six hotels, as well as retail, entertainment, F&B and residential components.

Each island will aim to represent a different facet of Europe's character and the first phase of the project is expected to be completed in 2016.
