India's 21-Year Journey to Establish Chabahar Port: A Timeline
The initial 10-year agreement between New Delhi and Tehran to develop and operate a berth named Shahid Behesti in Chabahar faced setbacks due to geopolitical challenges. Talks saw a significant slowdown in 2018 when the Donald Trump administration imposed new sanctions on Iran.
