HCC bags Rs.289 crore contract from Gujarat Water Infra

Hindustan Construction Company has received a letter of acceptance for INR 289 crore contracts to construct a bulk water transmission system for Gujarat Water Infrastructure Ltd, a Gujarat Government undertaking.

The work involves construction of a 57 kilometer water transmission pipeline between Dhanki and Maliya villages under the 'Swarnim Gujarat Saurashtra Kutch Water Grid Program.

The EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) contract also includes commissioning and maintenance of the system for five years. The project is scheduled for completion in 12 months.
